THIS SUMMER OF '84
Everything that is and was
Isn't anymore.
And all we have left are memories.
It has become so melancholy
And Confused.
Like the sad songs on the radio--
Lost and gone forever.
Leaving us with scars of past emotions.
What will the future bring?
We must push past the shadows of yesterday
And look into the promise of our tomorrows.
